As with everything, online speed dating does have its downside. First of all, this gives a way for the weirdoes who flock about the internet to creep into a trusting person’s good graces. This is why it is always important to practice internet safety and not give out too much sensitive or personal information to a person who you do not know.

In addition, it is easy to come across the wrong person with speed dating, even though your speed dating session may have made it feel like they were the right person. No matter how far technology has come the internet is a very impersonal way to meet someone and online speed dating is even more impersonal still.
